Представляя это новое издание французского лейбла “Marianne Melodie”, надо сразу сказать, что здесь вы не встретите записей популярных и знаменитых артистов как Поль Мориа, Франк Пурсель или даже Рэй Коннифф. В это этот раз патриот французской легкой музыки Серж Элаик решил нас познакомить с редкими записями Раймона Лефевра (а также под псевдонимом Тедди Мур), Каравелли, Эдди Барклея, которых он знал лично, как и Поля Мориа. Также вы услышите много неизданных записей знаменитых маэстро легкой музыки периода 50-х и 60-х из Германии, Англии и США — всего 30 различных оркестров. В аннотации к диску, написанную Сержем, вы найдете много информации о каждом дирижере. Исключение составляет лишь Тедди Мур, псевдоним который взяли Раймон Лефевр и Поль Мориа в период их совместных телевизионных работ с 1961 по 1963 годы. Как всегда «MM» и Серж сделали грандиозную работу, поэтому наша благодарность им не имеет границ.
Introducing the new edition of the French label «Marianne Melodie», we must say at once that here you will not find recordings of popular and famous artists like Paul Mauriat, Franck Pourcel or even Ray Conniff. This time Serge Elhaik, the patriot of French light music, decided to acquaint us with rare recordings of Raymond Lefevre (and also under the alias Teddy Moore), Caravelli, Eddie Barclay, whom he knew personally, like Paul Mauriat. You will also hear a lot of unreleased on recordings on CD format of the famous maestros of light music of period 50’s and 60’s from Germany, England and the United States — a total 30 different orchestras. In the liner notes written by Serge, you will find much information about each band leader. Exception it is Teddy Moore, nickname which took by Raymond Lefevre & Paul Mauriat in the period of their TV works from 1961 to 1963. As always «MM» & Serge made a grand job, so our gratitude has no limits.
